Rockford Golden Heritage

Rockford Golden Memory named thus because she is the last daughter of both our award-winning SNOWMASS REMINISCENCE and ROCKFORD CAROLLING BELLS. Her sire, Reminiscence had almost impenetrably dense fleece and a champion ancestry line from Snowmass Snowmaster, Snowmass Edelweis, Snowmass Legacy Gold, and Snowmass Andean Gold, and Caroling Bells. Progeny of one of our best Matriarchs -- LPS LUCIA FERNANDEZ (ZHANNA SUNRISE IMPA98 x Candian Champion JOLIMONT GOLD DUST--sired by DRACO) and exceptionally dense, Accoyo multi blue ribbon-winning champion---SNOWMASS SNOW LEGEND, (Sired by SNOWMASS INCAACCOYO STAR & grandsired by legend SNOWMASTER!!), Goldie's dam, Carol, not only had an incredible lineage, but had fleece that proved it. Carol's histograms were consistent with 17.9, 19.8, 19, and 20.7 microns combined with density and crimp. With Goldie comes a line of lingering fineness (meaning their fleece stays fine). Her grandsire, award-winning Snowmass Snow Legend had an AFD of whopping 14.4 (year 1); 18.8 (year 3); 20.7 (year 5); & 21.6 (year 8). Her granddam, LPS Lucia Fernandez shows: 17.4 (year 1); 22 (6 years); & 22.8 (year 9)!!! Her dam's full sisters Pearl & Beauty show the same: Pearl: 1 year: 20.8; 2nd year: 19.1; 4th year: 19.2 Beauty: 1 year: 16.7; 2nd year: 17.5; 3rd year: 18.7 Goldie herself has incredible fleece with a 5" long staple length of gold crimp! At 2 years old she had a 20.5 micron count, and a gentle sweet personality to match. With her packed genetics, along with that of her service sire SILVER SPOON VIOLA we could not have been more pleased with the result of her first breeding in 2020, Golden Heritage. She also produced a second beautiful cria with 4-Sight's Stallone in 2021, Midnight. With her lineage combined with her track record of stunning crias, we are more than thrilled to have her as a part of our breeding program!
