Sovereign Legend is truly extraordinaire. This promising herd sire has it all: Incredible fleece, perfect conformation, Elite genetics. With a completely solid white blanket, this male is the perfect pick to excel your white genetics, yet has substantial color genetics behind him as well. The product of a perfect pair, Sovereign Legend has unique genetics from HEMINGWAY, SNOWMASTER, SNOWMASS INCAACCOYO STAR, and ACERO MARKA'S ROCKAMUNDO. However, as the cliche´ goes "The proof is in the pudding": His sire: National champion - Accoyo SNOWMASS SNOW LEGEND had a 14.4 micron fleece at 1st shearing, and his fleece maintained it's lingering fineness, with 20.8 microns at 9 years of age. This, he passed onto his offspring. His dam: HEMINGWAY'S NAOMI added pervasive fineness and Elite genetics to our breeding program (including her grandsire the absolute Canadian Champion ROCKAMUNDO, who at 18 months had a 13.6 AFD & 14.5 lbs of pure fiber!!), as well as remarkable density and especially, *lingering fineness*. Even after her 8th shearing, her AFD was 19.5 microns!!!! Her offspring have carried on her fleece characteristics and lingering fineness. Of notable mention is Sovereign Legend's full sister - Daisy-Sunshine, who maintained an impeccable fineness record, showing histograms of: 16.9 (year 1); 16.3 (year 2); 16.5 (year 3); 16.0 (year 4); 15.0 (year 5)!! Sovereign Legend has a regal, watchful presence, and dense bundles of fleece, showing bright, low micron, low amplitude, high frequency, tight crimp. We have been thrilled to see what his breeding career has brought. We are excited to see what his first histogram brings.
